Foundation walls, terraces, roof spaces and wet rooms all face different water loads, and each needs a different system. At EMC Decor we start with moisture measurement and crack mapping, then match the system to the surface: crystalline/cement-based membrane for pressurised water, PVC or bituminous membrane for terraces and balconies, two-coat liquid membrane for wet areas.
Before anything is closed up, we verify the seal with a ponding or smoke test and document it with photos. Detail points — drains, penetrations, corners — are hand-reinforced, since roughly 80% of leaks start there, not on the flat surface. A standard job takes 3–7 days.
